Come join us for a
wonderful weekend of world-class skiing in Utah with 3 ski areas to choose from.
Our bus will be taking us to Brighton,
Snowbird and the Canyons. These resorts offer a great
variety of terrain along with beautiful lodges to relax in between your runs.
Well depart the Wyoming Department
of Transportation parking lot promptly at 3:00pm Thursday, March 2nd. Please be there no
later than 2:45. Our bus will take us to the 3 ski areas listed above and pick us up after
the lifts close the 1st and 2nd day. On March
5th we will have an earlier departure from the Canyons to allow for a more reasonable
return time to Cheyenne.
The trip price includes bus transportation
on a luxury 40 passenger cruiser, complete with restrooms and television. Snacks and
beverages will be provided on the bus along with movies and a dinner stop along the way.
Lodging will be at the newly-remodeled Best Western Garden Inn City Center in downtown
Salt Lake City. They offer a large outdoor hot tub, and a deluxe breakfast buffet every
morning. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant serving lunch and dinner. There are
plenty of other dining choices within walking distance of our hotel. Downtown Salt Lake
City offers plenty of entertainment, shopping, nightlife and brew pubs. TRAX, a light rail
system with free fare within the downtown area of Salt Lake City, is available to take you
to other exciting places. The hotel has a shuttle bus for groups of guests.

Come join us as we revisit Utah ski areas.
We will be visiting 2 areas we have not been to recently, Brighton and Snowbird. Brighton,
at the top of Big Cottonwood canyon, has a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere with 60
runs, a 1745 ft. vertical drop from 10,500 ft. and is only 35 miles form Salt Lake City.
Snowbird sports 2500 acres of skiing including the backcountry with Heli-skiing available.
A 3,240 ft. vertical drop from 11,000 ft., with a tram that whisks you off to 89 runs (the
longest at 3.5 miles) through 45% advanced terrain only 29 miles from SLC. The Canyons is
one of the largest ski resorts in the US with 3700 acres and 125 runs from 8 mountains.
With 3,190 ft. of vertical, a 2,5 mile run and only 40 minutes from SLC. The Canyons will
crown our tour of Utahs 500 inches of annual snowfall.
