Jackson

Ski Jackson Hole Friday January 12 – Monday January 15, 2007 (Martin Luther King holiday weekend).  More information will be available at the Chili Supper.

Are you tough enough?  Tough enough to ski Jackson?  Steep . . . and Deep.  Think you can handle it?  As the ski tram sign used to say – “This mountain is like nothing you have ever skied before!”   Experience the Grand Tetons, spectacular vistas, and terrific skiing at some of the world’s greatest ski areas – Jackson Hold, Grand Targhee and Snow King.

The Cheyenne Ski Club will be making its annual pilgrimage to Jackson Hole Friday January 12 and returning Monday January 15, 2007. We are returning to our traditional Martin Luther King weekend.  Join 40 intrepid people on the bus as they make their way to Jackson.  You’ll get an opportunity for three full days of skiing before leaving on Monday from Teton Village at 4:30 to return to Cheyenne. Optionally, skiing is available at Grand Targhee as well as Snow King. We will be staying at the very hospitable Elk Country Inn with your choice of rooms or cabins at low group rates. Elk Country Inn also has a hot tub, is near the downtown restaurants and activities, and will again be serving Dastardly Dan’s famous (free) Elk Barbeque dinner to the club.  Did I mention free?  What better way to ski Jackson than having a chauffeured bus with 40 of your friends.  Tough Friends.

Changes on the mountain include a new lodge at the top of Bridger Gondola and a chair to the top of the mountain so you'll still be able to score the nation's 4139 record feet of vertical. (Picture is as of late August.)
