Join the Cheyenne Ski Club's first trip of
the 2005-2006 Season: December 9-11
LOCATION
We'll be staying at the Arapahoe Inn, a club favorite located directly across the highway
from Keystone. Walk to the lifts at Keystone, or take the free Summit Stage to Arapahoe
Basin or Breckenridge. Copper Mountain should also be accessible.
TRANSPORTATION
Our charter bus leaves Friday, December 9th, at 5:30 p.m. from the parking lot
of the Wyoming Department of Transportation (5300 Bishop Blvd. at I-25 Exit 12). The
return trip will depart the Arapahoe Inn at about 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, returning
to the DOT at about 8:30 p.m.
LODGING
The Arapahoe Inn Guesthouse features large, comfortable rooms equipped with refrigerators
and microwaves as well as coffee makers. There's a continental breakfast as well as an
indoor hot tub. Here we'll enjoy a wine and cheese party.
SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
The Keystone area covers three mountain peaks. A-Basin is famous for high altitude and
deep snow. Breckenridge boasts a wide variety of terrain. Look for discounted lift tickets
at King Soopers, or ask about the Colorado Pass or Buddy Pass.
